Say farewell to a Canadian icon

'Hockey Night In Canada' Is Over,  Thanks to Licensing Spat - Wired.com


The CBC has decided to replace the theme song to "Hockey Night in Canada" after 40 years.  The hockey theme song is known as "Canada's Second Anthem" for Canada's most popular sport and show.  Apparently, the CBC will be holding a contest to replace the song, but Wired points out that if the original song was entered, it would win in a landslide.

I'm not sure what it all means, or what they're saying, but this Uniqlo website is really innovative.

Swirling masses of video interviews with pretty music.

I haven't seen anything like it.  It doesn't even matter that they're doing market research in Japanese for a new bra top.  It's Web 2.0 with a beautiful, innovative interface.
