Today’s link is a New York Times profile of the godfather of video games, Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto.  Miyamoto is responsible for creating

some of Nintendo’s biggest franchises including Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, The Legend of Zelda, and now Wii Fit, and these series birthed Nintendo’s most memorable characters including Donkey Kong, Mario and Zelda.  Miyamoto is also the brains behind the innovative Nintendo Wii.
