Mapping Netflix Data

Netflix, gave the New York Times access to some of it's 2009 movie rental data, and the Times mapped the data.  It's a mashup of movie rentals and maps for 12 major American cities, looking at movie rental trends, neighbourhood-by-neighbourhood.

This is a very cool example of data visualization, and I could spend hours looking at the information in all kinds of different ways.  In Canada, we don't have Netflix, but I am a member of Zip.ca and highly recommend it.
