In 1992, it was the first year that NBA players were allowed to play in the Olympics. With one of the greatest teams assembled in any sport, and a roster of players that can be recognized just by one name (Jordan, Magic, Bird, Barkley, Ewing, Stockton and Malone, Pippen, Drexler, Robinson, Mullin and Laettner), the USA Dream Team went on to win the gold medal with an average margin of victory of 43.8 points per game.
