Why do "conservative family values" states have higher divorce & teen pregnancy rates?

Do 'Family Values' Weaken Families? -National Journal Magazine

An interesting study on the differences in family values and practices between conservative and liberal states, a theory on what it all means, and what has changed about American society, and American families, in the last 30-40 years.  I found it to be fascinating reading.
